Love
I would love to share something I came across lately, and I thought it was beautiful to share. It took me a long time of realization and reflection to understand myself ,my body and my mind. It is a journey that you have to choose for yourself to deepen your understanding of yourself as a whole and to build a peaceful relationship with yourself.
I was reading something about how to give love to yourself. As humans, we are unique, and everyone needs something different. I was thinking and came to the realization that we mostly look for love and the feeling of love in external things, trying to avoid the feeling that is coming from inside.
Some people believe the presence of others will cover this feeling. Some try to cover it with obsessions over things and unhealthy relationships with external things overeating, spending time mindlessly scrolling on social media, or buying stuff to get temporary satisfaction.
It takes time and discipline to let go of those habits and stop seeking love or happiness somewhere outside of our own presence because the love we seek is already within ourselves. Much love Nelly
